Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Milford (Lutheran Church Missouri
Synod), incorporated January 1, 2008, has a goal of establishing an Open
Arms Child Development/Worship Center to serve the families of the greater
Milford area.
This facility will be a state-of-the-art Christian childcare
center for children 6 weeks through kindergarten with a latchkey program
for older children. It will also incorporate a congregation worship center
with facilities for youth basketball and for community activities.
To attain
this goal, we are following the guidelines of the Open Arms Institute of
Loveland, Colorado, which has cultivated more than forty-five such centers
